In 2022, Salt City Rock and Blues, associated with Authentic 231, held our first annual Smoke on the Water Music and Cannabis Festival. This was the first cannabis festival held on municipal property anywhere in the Midwest and the first in Michigan to allow marijuana and alcohol consumption at the same event. Nearly 1500 people enjoyed a beautiful day of fun and music on the shores of Lake Michigan. What an amazing time! Special thanks to the City of Manistee council members, city management, police department, and department of public works.
