Established in 2013 Salt City Rock and Blues, Inc. has been committed to building community through music by holding musical events using the proceeds to benefit the community. Whether it be the Forest Festival, LaborFest or other musical events, the goal has been and always will be to better the community.

Project History
Manistee North Pier-head Lighthouse Restoration
Have raised funds that were used to restore the Manistee North Pier-head Lighthouse. Nearly $20,000 in donations. (2013-2015)
Feed the Fight Manistee Go Fund Me Program
Initiated a Go Fund Me page called Feed The Fight Manistee to provide meals to front-line health care workers and first responders. Over $10,000 was raised to purchase meals from local restaurants which were then given to our front line heroes. (Established in April 2020)
Homeward Bound Animal Shelter Contribution
Made a $5000 contribution to Homeward Bound Animal Shelter, a no-kill shelter located in Manistee, MI. (2016)
State of the Art Amphitheater Feasibility Study
Salt City Rock and Blues has committed $10,000 to fund a feasibility study for the construction of an iconic amphitheater to be built on the shores of Lake Michigan. (2017)

Smoke on the Water 2022
In 2022, Salt City Rock and Blues in association with Authentic 231 held our first annual Smoke on the Water music and cannabis festival. What a success.
Mummies triumphant return brings record crowd.
Here Come the Mummies made their return last year for our LaborFest 2022 festival. Over 2000 fans provided testimony to the Mummies’ appeal and guarantees their return in the future.
